the 'westside style' you refer to is lifters mimicking their free squat, they sit back because thats what they do in the suit, you should be able to remove the box and it not look any different

a proper low bar squat fully utilising the posterior chain has minimal knee travel with or without gear, with or without a box, not everyone has the mobility or leverages for it though

Not sure if I agree there. High bar or low bar is going to be a quad dominant movement. I think low bar will use more low back but idk if it changes much. The best raw squatters tend to allow more knee travel and squat more upright.

I have switched up to C6W from 5/3/1 and my bench has gone from 110 to 120kg in 2 cycles, i dont feel like it is slowing down any time soon and each week the weights feel lighter and lighter.

Not had progress like this before in a long time, and feel like i could hit 140kg by the end of the year best thing is i am not even bulking and making great progress compared to 5/3/1.

Yeah, still have to get used to it. I feel like getting more behind the bar greatly helps with it too - when i dont manage to get my shoulders further back in the setup i just have the urge to fight the bar pulling me over - and that is best done by correcting my upper body angle. So those two go hand in hand, i believe.

I just recently added a secon session yeah, am doing some paused deadlifts, help with keeping the movementpattern in and also some volume.

Ah yeah, master thesis surely is alot of work - one of my colleagues is also working on his, he can't skip a single weekend of working on it and is still kind of behind.
But i guess it's worth it in the end.

Will surely get some variation in for this 2nd deadlift day, also have to develop a plan of getting better grip strength.
I have miserably small hands and cant double overhand my working sets - which makes them a lot worse because mix gripping just makes everything a lot more weird for me.

Yeah sort of. Monday is squat and bench following Juggernaut, just repeating 10/8 for squat and 8/5 for bench, four or five sets of paused deads, then and upper push/pull and ham curl bodybuilding stuff and maybe some curls and lateral raises if I feel like it, Friday I do five or six deadlift sets pretty heavy, same with bench, then a three or four doubles or triples of front squats and the same bodybuilding shit. Takes about 1:30-1:45/

Am I making gains? I don't know, I think I look a little bigger, I don't feel weaker at all. Bench is probably plateauing if I'm being honest, deads feel fine, and high rep squats actually feel really good.

Wall squats were a bit of a meme some time ago tho. About the same time as Sheiko started blowing up here, I think, because of a vid of one of his disciples "fixing" his technique with it. IIRC, he learned to have less knee travel.
