im not gay breh... seriously though I'm flattered I suppose. Don't really have time to hold someone's hand though. full time student, part time job, in middle of prep for my first show, so I wouldn't do it for a friend at this moment, let alone some random guy on 4chan. some things I'd recommend to any noob though (and in order of importance)

1.) read shit, dont think ive ever met anyone in great shape who really had no clue what they were doing or what they were eating etc. I have some friends who are IFBB pros now and some are dumb as rocks when it comes to most shit, but bring up nutrition or fitness and they're like encyclopedias. Also I really do mean READ too, don't go to social media "fitness gurus", a lot of them are great guys, help keep me motivated, ive met bradley martyn, jon skywalker, matt ogus, among others, but realistically they don't have your best interests in mind, they're trying to make a living off being a personality. Be holistic in your research/studies too.

2.) learn to eat. you've probably heard 50% diet / 50% workout nonsense, that's complete bullshit. getting shredded is more like 80% diet, 18% workout, 2% supplements.

3.) stay consistent. My best friend and I started lifting at same time and hes still pretty DYEL, hes gotten more serious now and im trying to help him out but he regularly says he regrets not staying consistent. pic related

4.) last one may not apply but try to lose your inhibitions. I notice a lot of new/smaller guys who workout like scared children, I mean its kind of funny but I also feel bad for them. I think i'm lucky I never felt that way, I get a good amount of looks in the gym, I think because I goof around a lot, and at this point cause I'm one of the bigger guys at my gym, especially now during my prep, but even when I first started I got looks because I would goof around and do weird ass shit, experimenting routines and shit. Really never gave a shit what people thought.

Right now I do balcony bro's routine(pic related), and I'm 6ft 159 lbs, but I've only had a gym membership since last Thursday. A few weeks before, I was a cardio junkie, I would do major distance running, 6-10 miles a day a lot of the time, and then long runs on weekend anywhere above >13 miles. I would just do an intermediate calisthenics routine 3x a week. I got really skelly but my abs got good during this time. When I stopped that I went to medium cardio(a few 5k runs a week), and started really focusing on those 3x a week calisthenics full body workouts, and eating a lot more. This is when I started to put on lean muscle, moving out of auschwitz mode. After a month and a half I got my gym membership and started balcony bro's routine and eating even more. I know this is a clusterfuck, but the most important things are that I've put on quite a few pounds of muscle from just eating healthy and eating a lot, and light cardio and ab work like planks and hanging leg v-raises helped me get a good core. Also, I've put on ~3 pounds this week alone with balcony bro's routine and eating healthy/a lot, so it is very fucking good, getting some of the best pumps of my life.

I lost 10 kilos, and i feel nothing.

The Heaviest I've ever been was 175lbs, but I want to be 185 lean. Im so far from that. Im pretty good at slow recomp and bulk. In my first year I put on 12 lbs of muscle. 2nd year, 8 lbs of muscle, 3rd year, year 4lbs. I'm almost halfway though my 4th year and it's probably going to be around 2 or 3lbs.

I've gotta try the dreamer bulk at least once. I'm running out of options as a natty.
