Calisthenics is only great for aesthetics because it's much easier to tax your back and core than any other set of muscles. You won't get a retard with giant titties or big thighs w/ pancake butt doing calisthenics.

You could probably get results from it but you probably have to make it your life, ie pushups, situps, pullups, chin-ups, planches, handstand pushups, all that shit like 50-100 times a day with weight vests and stuff. You wouldn't look like jeff seid or rich piana from it, but you'll definitely look pretty ripped

So I get that normal calisthenics cause slow gains, but what about weighted calisthenics (weighted pushups, pullups, etc.)? Would that negate the faults?
