No, you can buy a topical at the pharmacy. You apply that like nailpolish. If you have thick nails already, you need to file them down as much as possible first, but that shouldn't be necessary if it's not that bad yet.

Pills are supposed to be more effective, but you need a prescription for those. She actually tried the stuff before and it didn't work, but she had had it for years at that point and her nails were already REALLY thick and nasty.

How do you fix that weird peely skin athletes foot gives you? Can you just use one of those scrubbing things to get rid of the dead skin? Would moisturizing work? The athletes foot went away weeks ago but the bottom of my feet are still kinda fucked up.

I got an infected toe after having to be on my feet for a few days and ignoring an injury. Indian doctor told me that infected feet injuries largely don't happen back in India as no one wears shoes, one of the few silver linings.

Fresh air will be good for it, and help kill off infection. Keeping it cooped up in socks and shoes will make it a lot worse. Go barefoot whenever you can to make it better.

Just take off your socks at home. You're not a barbarian who wears shoes indoors, are you?
