wow that looks awful

>eating before noon

lol
>>
>>40631063
not bad at all man, If you aren't overeating to compensate then you seem to have naturally fallen into an intermittent fasting lifestyle. You probably have lower body fat because of it
>>
>>40631074
>>40631090
Looks like some ramen thing
>>
WHAT
THE FUCK
IS THAT

Also, bacon and eggs. I usually don't eat a lot in the morning during the week
>>
>>40631074
Caldo Verde
>Portuguese soup with kale, cabbage, beet greens, roast beef, chaurico, turnips and potatoes, I added three fried eggs on top for the morning protein boost.
>>
>>40631102
Nope
See quads of truth
>>40631111

Barely, it's 11 where I am.
>>

>caldo verde

I like bacon and eggs too. And steak and eggs and pork chops and eggs really anything and eggs.
>>
>>40631147
le recipe?
>>
>>40631147
I like that too but every morning? Reminds me I should make it again soon. I've got all the ingredients and I haven't made it in a while.

No you've got to drink coffee alone as your breakfast then break your intermittent fast at noon or 1 o clock.

Maybe not every morning, once a week is fine
>>
>>40631044
was that pic before or after you vomited?
>>
>>40631242
most of your calories should be eaten after lifting
>>
>>40631644
About half and half. You need to have a bunch of fuel in the gut to have a really intense workout. Working out underfed is just the worse.
>>
>>40631063
>2/3 cup oats
>1/2 cup plain non fat Greek yogurt
>1 scoop CMON
>1/4-1/2 cup non sweetened vanilla almond milk

>Put in Mason jar
>Shake the shit out of it
>Put in fridge

>Wake up
>Pour water or more milk in to loosen it up
>Shake again
>Drink

>400 calories
>40g protein
>40g carbs
>5g fat

Doesn't get much better or easier than that anon
>>
>>40631680
>You need to have a bunch of fuel in the gut to have a really intense workout.

no
>>
>>40631686
>Almond milk and yogurt
Why not add real milk for the extra 7gs of protein? And the fact that almond milk is gross.
>>
>>40631044
Fuck the haters OP, that looks good.... whatever it is

Im a lazy piece of shit so for breakfast I just throw some eggs and chopped ham into the pan till cooked and throw them in a tortilla for breakfast burrito. Anything else is way too much effort and prep time
>>
>>40631693
Yes. To get through a 2 hour sesh. Yes. You think you work out hard but you don't.
You need at least similar macros to
>>40631686
Otherwise you will not be getting as big as quickly as you could.
>>
>>40631717
Lol soup is literally just chop veggies and throw in left over roast beef plus the all the sauce in the pan and allow to simmer all night while you sleep. Wake up scoop bowl and eggs or not whatever. You can even just add the eggs to the top if the soup is still cooking and they will poach.
>>
>>40631710
Tastes better, less fat and less calories.

I grew up on milk for every meal but the thin-ness of almond milk and the vanilla taste is top tier in oats. Obviously milk is best alone.

But make it however you want friendo
>>
>>40631759
I like fat and calories. I'm trying to get big.
(160 lbs) maybe I rep 185 once for a max... I need rapid gainz.

116C/22F/62P

It's my day off and I ate this post workout, wanted something that felt cheaty but wasn't.
>>
my breakfast is almost always premade, like a frozen burrito or soup can or snack bar.

sometimes i make protein smoothies for breakfast.
>>
>>40631833
NICE BREKKY
I also Kodiak cake when I get the sweet tooth hankering.
>>
>>40631838
C'mon anon you can do better. Are you into /CooK/ it's one of the most valuable skills a person can have. Homemade soup is sooo much better than the can. I can't go back to that swill. And it's not hard either see
>>40631757
>>
>>40631881
i've made chicken noodle soup and tomato soup a few times but it always takes me like 1-2 hours and feels like a lot of work getting the ingredients.

but you're right, it'd be healthier to make my own. i like that when i make my own soup, i add much less salt than what is normally packed in canned soup (like 1000mg of salt? lmao.)
>>
>>40631731
You don't need half your goddamn calories for the day before a session lad.

Hell, I think that'd be more of an obstacle than a boon.
>>
>>40631915
See if you start cooking for yourself from whole ingredients like whole chickens and roasts and stuff then the soup pot is just where you throw your leftovers. Chicken noodle and tomato are probably two of the more time consuming too. The ones based on roasts and veggies are much less time consuming.
>>
>>40631784
Then switch to whole milk and vanilla full fat Greek yogurt
>>
>>40631931
Unless you're working out first thing of the day I don't see how it's an obstacle. And even then having a 1500 to 2000 calorie breakfast isn't hard.
>>
>>40631833
Explain pls

Kodiak cakes? Eggs?
Guessing it's a type of floor and you mix the eggs into it? Or egg whites
>>
>>40632060
Its the fucking best ever. Google Kodiak cakes bro, youll never go back
>>
>>40632083
>This
>Also making them with the extra egg is goat
>I add an extra third cup of milk as well.
>>
>tfw frog
>here breakfast is always something sweet so either pastries or biscuits
>want to get fit
>start being interested in calories and nutrients
>realize I'll have to completely change my breakfast habits

Even after all those years the frenchman in me still gets the urge to ravage a croissant or some cake in the morning lads, hold me.
>>
>>40632143
Eh have half a croissant with your eggs and meat. It won't kill your gainz to have a little bit of what you crave.
>>
>>40631044

my uni schedule is so fucked that i dont even have a schedule. My first meal of the day can be either breakfast at 7am or lunch at 12-15pm.

but the GOAT breakfast
>oatmeal
>peanut butter
>milk
>salt
>sugar

FUCK ITS SO GOOD I CANT BELIEVE IT. And the other crazy thing about it is that it keeps the hunger away so freaking well that i dont even want to eat anything in ~8 hours.

It's almost as good as just skipping breakfast on IF.
>>
>>40631997
It's more useful after. I just have a bowl of oats and an orange before my sessions, works fine.
>>
>>40632278
I guess if you aren't trying to get gainz that's okay. Are you a deathfat anon?
>>
>>40631111
that sounds delicious
>>
>>40632111
>>40632083
So you add extra eggs whole or extra egg whites?
>>
>>40632305
I guess for some people. I do 40 min of cardio with a full lifting sesh.

I add whole eggs. The yolk adds extra calories.
Also I would like to point out the exceedingly unlikelihood of my digits
>>40631111
>>40632111
>>
How do I force myself to eat eggs guys? The texture sickens me, but I can get over the flavor
>>
>>40632320
It is. And it's super easy and super healthy. Google Portuguese caldo Verde for a recipe. I'm happy to spread my motherland's cuisine.
>>
>>40631169
It's an egg with salsa.
Not that hard.
>>
>>40632474
Practice practice practice. When I was a young lad I'd only eat scrambled and preferred the whites the most. I got to where I liked the yolk parts. By junior high I got to where I liked them fried over easy. Today I LOVE them and have to have them a few times a week to satisfy the cravings. Try frying your eggs in a bit of the leftover bacon grease to enhance the flavor. If you like scrambled better be sure to whisk them in a bowl with milk before putting them in a pan. Also try sauteeing your favorite vegetables and meat together in the pan and then adding when whisked eggs and then grating some cheese in with all of that when the eggs are done cooking. Some go to combos for me
>Tuna and mixed veggies
>Ham and mixed veggies/any dark leafy greens
>Chicken breast chunks and see above

I'm on sheiko so my sessions are regularly 2-3 hours and loads of volume.
>>
lol fuck you jon

I do this, it's fine. I just eat later in the day.
>>
>>40631997
>1500 to 2000 calorie breakfast isn't hard.

Yeah dude, just you go eat your 2000cal breakfast you fat fuck lmao.

>>

Sheiko is a good program.

What do you eat the rest of the day? Fucking icecubes and crackers? Fooling nobody, pal.

How many memes have you fell for? And I didn't say sheiko was bad, I don't even think /plg/ is bad I just thought it was a funny bantz.
>>
>>40632750
I do manual labor plus 2 hour gym sessions. I have to eat a lot or I will go full skellyington. I am also trying to get big natty. Which is a bitch, if you've ever tried.
>>
TFW all I ever eat is oat, pb and j sandwich, or eggs for breakfast with a cup of coffee
Lazyaster race reporting
>>
>>40632762
0, all grains just make me feel like shit.

This largely depends on race I think.
>>
>>40633077
What race only eats oats? I think it's in your head m8...
>>
>>40631063
its fine, just get your calories in later
>>
>>40633107
No. Tolerance to grains.

Those who have lived without grain-based agriculture can't process it so well, meanwhile wild oats exist in nearly all Eurasian regions, including Scando-Siberian regions.
>>
>>40633281
>Scando-siberian regions
You mean where rye and barley have been staple grains for 2000+ years? And where wheat has been popular for a very long time as well?
>Le gluten is bad meme
Seriously senpai you fell for a meme.
>>
Keto diet. So my breakfast consists of a banana or apple.20 g Carbohydrates is hardly worth mentioning, it's just a small cut out of black bread.
At lunch I eat a salad. After work I make myself some a dinner out of lean meat like beef, chicken or fish.
>>
>>40633358
>2000+ years? And where wheat has been popular for a very long time as well?
This is not a long time at all. And many, many MANY regions had and continue to have no grain-based agriculture at all, having traditionally always survived on animal husbandry.
>>
>>40633397
How's that working for you? What are your goals with keto exactly? For me personally it seems to restricting, for me not anyone else.
>>
>>40633426
It doesn't feel restricting, quite the opposite actually. You have to understand that due to my work schedule me and my colleagues usually buy breakfast and lunch somewhere on the go. In germany this means a shitload of carbs(white bread) and fried food.I was always feeling bloated and despite my consistent workouts in the gym I wasn't loosing any weight. Talked to a guy in the gym who made good progress doing this diet. Since I want to loose weight I decided to go for it. It's funny that being restricted is actually a freeing experience, I know what I'm allowed to do and what not. I also don't feel bloated anymore.
>>
>>40633420
Kek
>many, many
Like who? Even the region you posted b4 has a long history of agrianism. Vikings and Slavs were both dedicated farmers despite their characterization as barbarians. The only people I can think of off the top of my head who had a non grain based agriculture system were central and southern Africans who used the yam and incans who used potatoes
>All of Asia rice
>Middle East rice/wheat/sorghum
>North Africa rice/wheat
>Southern/Central Europe wheat/barley/sorghum
>America's besides incans maize.

I'm not a milk guy so what I do is add 250ml water in the shaker, throw a 200g cup of greek yoghurt and blend it. The yoghurt gives the water a creamy texture similar to that of milk, not to mention it's a 20g protein alternative. Afterwards I add the oats and protein powder.

It tastes great and all but from what I gather, greek yoghurt is very expensive outside my country. In any case, it's worth checking out if you don't include milk in your diet.
>>
>>40633477
Good for you man I must point out however that
>Being restricted is actually a freeing experience, I know what I'm allowed to do and what not
May be the most German sentence I've ever read. I do understand what you mean tho... Lol it just fit the stereotype type too humorously...
>>
>>40633553
It's not that expensive in America. Where are you from?
>>
>>40633574
Greece
>>
>>40633577
Well that explains it. I wish /fit/ was a flag board so I didn't have to ask dumb questions like that.
>>
I can either skip breakfast and feel great until 1 hour before lunch, then I get really hungry like a famished nigger. Or I can force down breakfast and feel bloated as shit until lunch so I'll have to force down lunch which causes me to feel bloated as shit until dinner.

Fuck breakfast, IF masterrace
>>
>>40633588
Nah, it's a perfectly valid question. I always see complaints here that greek yoghurt is expensive, considering FAGE has the market in a total stranglehold. How much do the tubs go for in the US?
>>
>>40633621
*Foreign market
>>
>>40631044
>breakfast
>Most important meal of the day

You fell for a meme.
>>
>>40633621
Eh less than 5 bucks depending on brand/artisanship (organic/cream on top/grass fed etc all command higher prices) we have A LOT of milk production here and big companies that can compete with fage and most of our product comes from cows which I imagine isn't the case in actual Greek yogurt from Greece.
>>

Most people here buy locally produced or wholesale from Fage or Olympus. Definitely the best (and most expensive) are produce in byzantine monasteries.

Personally, the only FAGE product I buy regularly is Trikala cheese. If you happen to find a variation of it in the US, try it. You cant go wrong with those macros

It is delicious. Any non-wet cheese (not a fan of feta) is like crack to me, it makes life hard when I'm on a deficit.

I love cheese as well, although too much of it can strain your cardiovascular system. Especially here in Greece, producers don't hold back on the fucking salt because of strict anti-preservative laws.
