I did a 3 hour workout after a few sips and that night every time I was about to fall asleep my body would jolt thinking I was doing a rep and I didn't end up sleeping

If you have the opportunity to make up for the lost sleep tonight, take pre and force workout.
If not, don't do it, it will fling you into a dark sleep fatigue loop.
