it started with scrolling through instagram. all the insta gym girls wear low cut white converse. then i noticed a lot of the women i discovered on youtube (the ones who lift) also wear converse, and oddly enough in white. lastly, i saw in a small lifting account that she wears white converse too.
wtf is that about? am i losing gains by wearing my normal (super comfy tho) gym shoes? is wearing white converse while working out the key to activating more glutes?
>those ankles
please brah, im on no-fap...

Converses are just decent lifting shoes - relatively thin sole, no squishy raised heel, lowtop that doesn't interfere with ankle mobility. Nothing special beyond that.

Converse are awesome for the gym.
But I've noticed a lot of college aged and high school aged white girls wear converse for some reason. Usually paired with some top shirt and skinny jeans or yoga pants. It's like the new white girl uniform.

ok, i was thinking it had to do with something along the lines of that. i was just genuinely surprised when i kept seeing these as a popular choice for girls when i thought some of the best shoes to train with are running or sports shoes.
i haven't worn converse since i was like 15 so i couldn't remember if they were that comfy
kind of like why dudes wear white vans. They think they're being unique but in reality everyone is wearing them. It's kind of like having a pompadour, sleeve tattoos, and wearing Clark Kent black rim glasses
