Didn't see a progress thread anywhere.

Pic on the left is from October, pic on the right is from just now, and I'm a little disappointed to be honest. The difference in training is that a few months back I got a hernia, so I had to stop squatting and deadlifting and transition to high-rep leg press and extension instead.

If you're new to lifting you could get away with dieting and lifting so you lean out and put on muscle. That won't last forever though. Yeah your back looks pretty good, no need to really go fancy yet with the workout so you seem to be on the right track.

Never too late man. Take pictures from day one every week so you can look back and appreciate how far you've come. Any time I feel like I'm not making progress I just pull up something from a few months ago, or the same time last year, or 2 years ago, etc, and there's my proof that I am making progress. Compare your current self to your former self, not to an arbitrary end goal "goal body" or whatever. Best way to stay positive and looking forward to the next workout imo.

If you never went a day and going for long walks and doing barbell exercises, progress is pretty good case of tren E as you can do.

Substantial gains made anon. Pic two shows you did really well lifting despite cutting at a deficit. Pic 3 of the current bulk looks like you have no problem getting the calories in you need to grow. If anything my advice at this point would be to work on how to bulk without putting on a disproportionate amount of BF. Between july and march you put on 30lbs, but realistically only 8-15lb's of that is quality lean mass, 15lb's being extremely generous. Most research shows that a novice natural lifter can expect to gain about 1lb of muscle per month max assuming a solid+consistent lifting routine and adequate nutrition (protein requirements and caloric surplus).

This means in a nutshell that you should be aiming to gain ~2lb's per month, knowing that not even the full 2 lb's will be LMM. If you're gaining more weight than that every month, you need to lower your caloric surplus. Bulking shouldn't mean entire extra meals or a dramatically different diet. You only need about +300 calories over your TDEE in order to remain in an anabolic state. An extra 300 calories per day truly isn't much, we're talking maybe one bonus snack per day, or slightly larger portion sizes on 1-2 meals. Eating more than this doesn't make you *more* anabolic.

Keep up the progress, dial in your bulk to more closely resemble a "lean bulk", should be making gains for a long time to come and it'll make the ensuing cutting phase much faster and easier.
