Let's talk dead hangs. Tested myself yeaterday, and i was able to hang for 40 seconds each set over 3. I onky weigh 145ish, so if i wanted to improve my grip for diddys, shoukd i start strapping weight to myself during these hangs?

30 seconds at a time and increase weight once that's easy.

Heavy static holds as well with double overhand.

depends. if you want to increase grip endurance just hang for longer. if you want to increase peak grip strength find out how much weight you can hold for 15s and then do several sets of that for 12s.

Just get stronger at pull ups

Once i got to 25kg for 3x5 I could basically hold for forever

I can deadhang for around 2 minutes now, I weight around 180
The most weight I can hold is 635 with mixed grip and chalk for about 5 seconds.
