You keep your back at about the same angle, or gradually more erect, until the bar gets to roughly knee level. Get a forceful knee lockout (using leg drive/quad drive) and push the hips through/fuck the bar. You won't fall over unless you forget to keep your back tight.

You're doing it to avoid hitching and make the lockout easier. And sumo relies heavily on quad drive to get the bar moving.

it's just good amount of volume (5-8-5-8), good frequency (4x), high intensity (@9). Also, training with spoto press and slingshot press is quite good for improving weak points.

For more experienced lifters I prefer stuff with lower intensity and a bit higher volume, like sheiko.

Just trust me on this, it's more draining than anything else and will make you HATE people. When I worked manual labour the people were simple, yes, but that was part of the appeal.

And I work in a hospital now, so it's not like I just have a regular office job either, but I still miss manual labour.

I work in a Chemistry lab and it's a little bit of both. I get to do experiments and move around a bit, if there's a check-up or calibration to do on equipements I do it and afterwards I have to look at the data on my computer. One month of cutting down.

Lost about 4 kilos, strenght has gone down a bit and I have lost literally all motivation for this strength meme.
Going to the gym is a chore now.
