Anon, I really enjoy doing pull-ups.

Can I SUBSTITUTE barbell rows for wide-grip pull-ups in 5x5, without losing much efficiency, assuming everything else is left the way intended.

substituting a vertical pull for a horizontal pull doesn't make much sense seeing as they both work the back in a different way. You always want one of each. If you asked to substitute pullups for lat pulldown that would actually make sense. If you asked to substitute horizontal cable row for barbell rows, that would also make sense.

Different anon here. So what you're saying is that bent over rows and lat pulldowns/regular pullups have different effects on the back? How so?

Why the fuck don't you just do them both? Why are you pussies so scared of volume?
My back day goes:
Upright rows (first exersize to get shoulders nice and warmed up)
Pull ups 3-4 sets til failure
Chin ups 2-3 sets til failure
Lat pull downs, 3 sets chin-up grip then I switch grips to a pull-up grip for another 3 sets
Low cable rows
Bent over rows
Sometimes rack pulls/ deadlifts/ shrugs / dumbell rows, depending on how I feel
Then 2-3 types of biceps curls, then I go back and do another few sets of upright rows again to finish off traps and further cool the shoulders down.

Fuck off if you're one of those 3 exersize workout doing cucks.

60 second plank
30 second on each side isolation plank
1xf chin up
1xf push up

then I get hella doms, rest for a few days, and try and advance on any of those lifts.
