Not a meme though. He came up after I finished my protein shake and asked if it was creatine, so I told him that I didn't know what it was. Now he's trying to redpill me.

what the fuck is google and why didn't you use it?

Apparently gives people more energy so their lifts go up and it causes your muscles to become more bloated with water so you look bigger.
Around 30% of people don't respond to it, I'm one of those and it just made me constantly sick.
I took it for a few months and lost interest. Didn't notice anything. I just stick to whey and a vitamin stack.
I take Creatine after I work out, am I doing it wrong?
If you eat any red meat at all in your life, taking creatine is a waste of money.
I thought you take it before workout, I always do, plz halp
Ì always look so much better when on creatine, more full and like I actually lift.
Lifts go up a bit while on it too, shit's great. Cheap as dirt.
I think they say like 10% of people are non-responders and don't see any results from it. There are lots of studies done on creatine out there, one of the few supplements that does something.

Creatine helps ATP which is the energy system for muscles - basically it boosts your muscular performance slightly.
I think creatine is one of the 3 good supplements, along with vit d and fish oils.
Some people respond better to it then others - a friend of mine for example tried it and didn't notice a difference. For me reps seem easier, though I'm not sure I would miss a rep if i hadn't been supplementing with creatine.

was he bald ?
Here's a quick overview without getting too scientific:
Supplementing creatine saturates your muscles with one of the first sources of energy your body uses during explosive movements like lifting weights or sprinting. More muscle energy = able to do a few extra reps = more muscle hypertrophy = more gainz. As for >>40554748
it doesn't matter when you take it, it doesn't have an instant effect. Your muscles become saturated slowly after a period of a few days of taking it continuously, some evidence shows loading for the first couple weeks may increase the saturation rate but that's still kind of up in the air. You should be taking it, there's really no downside except for some people report water retention, but personally I've never seen any and I've taken it every day for years

how much do you take a day? 5g the standard amount?
>>40554825
Yup, 5g is pretty standard. You can do 10 or 20 if you decide to load at the beginning, but once your muscles are saturated 5g is basically the norm
