The question is, which will get you more drunk out of the 3? Vodka, whiskey, or tequilla? I'm not a big drinker, so I don't have a high tolerance. If I have 7 shots of vodka, that's 500 calories (70 calories a shot per oz). I guess that's not too bad... But still, 500 calories.

Actually calories in Vodka are all from ethanol. The biochemical pathway of ethanol is very inefficient. A lot is lost to heat.

Beer on the other hand has ethanol and about 12-30 grams of carbs depending if its an ale or lager so the calories from beer are way more bio available.
