The style seems to vary from season to season.
It's super flashy, has nice psychedelic visuals. Artstyle might not be for you though.

to be honest, it's the proportions of the face.
with the sole exception of Vampire Hunter D, i cannot stand that style of drawing faces, eyes, eyebrows, chins, it drives me nuts i'm not sure why.
but being aware that much more goes into animation, it could vary well be up my alley, too many animes i've passed up from not liking the manga style or from pictures i've seen, only to watch it in animation and be truly surprised. also homoeroticism is absolutely wonderful, no homo.

Bet money the anime will be 10 times better than the movie they're making that appears to have pretty much completely abandoned what made the source material good (Hollywood's inescapable sin, it seems), and will rely exclusively on Scarlett Johannson's ass to sell tickets.

I loved Hajime no Ippo.
Got me super motivated. Motivated me to train and it was encouraging that he had a real progression in the series, I paced it out by only watching a couple episodes a week so when he had gotten stronger it felt like I had too.
Also motivated me to get good grades in college and do good at work, Ippo and the other characters maintain and work hard in other areas of their life including jobs and studies. It just made me want to balance out my life, be more well rounded and stop being so lazy or focusing too hard on one thing and neglecting other areas in my life.

Its not good, but Masamune no Revenge is pretty much /fit/ in a nutshell

Kokou no Hito is an absolute masterpiece. He is a loner but that becomes extremely important later on.

His entire purpose in life is climbing mountains. The character and series of events is based off a real person, Kato Buntaro, who climbed solo on extremely dangerous mountains. Honestly if you can't enjoy this series I'd be surprised.

I was one of these "anime is garbage and doesn't belong to 4chan" posters (and still am in a way), haven't watched an anime in more than a decade and I instantly fell in love with it.

Artstyle, fights, and funny dialogue are its biggest assets. First 2 episodes are somewhat slow, it's pretty great from that point onwards though. Part 3 starts somewhat slowly too but the last 10 episodes make up for everything.
