Does the lifting community count the bar as weight?
>>40502427
only DYELs do.
>>40502427
Yes the barbell has a weight to it, which you are lifting.
>>40502437
yes, but check >>40502434
he obviously doesn't count the bar as weight
I don't count weights as weight. Ain't nuthin but a peanut.
>>40502427
No, you're only living the weight
>>40502434
so when I'm warming up on bench with just the bar I'm lifting zero lbs?
yes because I couldn't even do the bar with ohp. Now I'm at 120lbs
>>40502427
is the bar a circular plate of metal that has weight printed on it? no? then no.
>>40502628
Nope, your arms have weight
>>40502642
heaven forbid you find yourself in a gym where the plates don't have numbers printed on them
>>40502647
So, when I get out bed I'm actually lifting 80 kg of myself? noice. perpetual lifting
>>40502673
>getting out of bed
>>40502673
Half that, you're not lifting your lower body unless you jump out of bed like a spaz
>>40502683
lmao neeting all the way. right, bro?
>>40502628
yes, only the plates are counted you autist.
do you count the fucking clips? your arms? the air resistance as you move through space?
you're a fucking idiot.
>>40502710
>trying this hard to fit in
>>40502710
actually squatting is the only thing that actually counts, break your leg then learn how to walk again. Shit is annoying
Break your arm and you literally have to do nothing after it's healed
>>40502671
That'd be pretty retarded
>>40502710
What if the bear is counted too?
>comparing 22 lbs to 1 lbs
BRAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPP
>>40502710
>see someone squatting their max
>jump on them
logically, they should still be fine, since your weight doesn't count
>>40502673
>not sleeping on a bench press
>having to stand up and walk (cardio) to lift
Never gonna make it
>>40502756
>>40502756
>jump in them
>remember you're wearing your #99 sports jersey
>kill the poor fucker
This is you
>>40502710
>tfw whenever you jump you're self-lifting
>>40502710
>trying this hard
If you put the bar on a big scale, what does the scale say?
That's how much you're lifting. it obviously includes the bar. Don't let /fit/ mislead you.
I count the bar but not the plates
>>40503719
now I'm imagining some autist squatting 4 bars piled over each other
>>40502427
if the nfl, nba, 99% of weight lifters do then you should too, don't listen to skinny fat meme lords over the internet
>>40502710
those aren't enough to warrant being counted but 40-45 pounds is enough to make a difference
>>40502710
Brevity is the soul of wit, my friend
>>40502735
Not really.
There's 2.5
5
10
25
35
45
If you can't tell those apart from looking at them, you shouldn't be allowed outside without and adult.
>>40503739
Hahahah good laugh
>>40504003
This, I only count the bar if it weighs more than 35 lbs.
>>40504077
I had a friend who tatted on his chest along with a bunch of other weird/cool shit....not all of it was cool. He kept getting new shit ontop of his old ones because he knew they looked retarded
>>40504121
The plates in my gym are all black cast iron
None of them weigh the number that's on them
Each of the bars have a different weight. There's a 15kg bar, a few 18kg, one that was 20kg but was broken, fixed, broken, fixed and now it's dunno kg and one that's actually 20kg, but it's collars are now fixed unevenly.
Oh, and we have 50kg plates.
>>40504191
Do you live in Soviet Russia?
>>40504121
>you're measuring in lbs.
>Kilo Master Race
>>40502427
I don't count weights or bars, I only LIFT them. I don't know math, ok? I'm not a genius I'm not Einstein.
>>40502710
and you lift those weights without a bar
nice b8 m8
