How long does your cut usually last you? I seem to fuck it up every time by either going to slow or too aggressive. What's your approach to cutting?
Cutting general I guess
Im down 14 pounds in the last 2.5 months. My approach is pretty vanilla, and if youre having those problems, i feel like thats because youre not tracking your calories in correctly.
>iifym
>tdee calculator
>eat 750 cals under my tdee
I usually up my cardio a bit(only like 15-20 minutes nothing crazy) and ill try to round the cals up to all the food i eat, that way if i make better progress than expected, its a plus.
It lasts until its done. I want it to be a solid cut to 15% BF before I do some mini bulking and cutting leading into summer. Currently at around 156, weigh-in is tomorrow.

I track my calories really well. It's deciding when and how many calories to go lower that I think is my problem. I've gone with the simple "if your weight loss stalls, lower by three hundred." which worked best but only once or twice have I ended with a physique that's bf% is low enough.

So i guess the question would be, if you didnt reach your desired bf% why did you stop cutting? Were you losing too much muscle/strength?

Yes pretty much. I've been lifting for 6 years believe me I know unless you jump on the juice you have to accept losing size and strength, but my lifts would get cut in half which to my understanding is too much to just be the normal amount for cutting?
