How much weight should you be able to manage during weighted chin ups? Symmetric strength is trying to tell me that average 135 lbs male can do more than 225 lbs 1RM.

almost 2x bw or over chinup is world class. even 1x bw is really impressive. that site is shit at those estimates plus roiders completely destroy it.

Symmetric strength is dead wrong.
For a second thought this was a dude riding a unicycle doing some sort of bar balancing

The average male can barely do one chin up

Yeah well the AVERAGE male also gets pussy. Whats your excuse?
>>40489927
>almost 2x bw
by 2x bw you mean your bw + bw in pl8s or 2x bw in pl8s?
>>40489907
Where the fuck did you read that? Assuming you're including BW a 225 1RM is well on the way to advanced for a 135lbs male. A +225lbs 1RM is far into World Class territory.
>>40490319
bw + bw in pl8
>>40490319
when doing weighted bodyweight exercises you always include your bodyweight. You are lifting it.
For example a pullup with a 5lb dumbbell between your legs is a 205lb pullup, you do weigh 200lb, right?
But I'm not a douche so I just say I do 25lb weighted pullups and everyone knows wtf I'm talking about
>>40489907
sym strength is really weird for anything other than the PL lifts
>>40490386
even for PL lifts it sucks
