Beyond that, if you never allow yourself to do the things you want to do then fitness becomes a cage that rules over your life. Want to go out with friends for drinks? Nah too many calories. Mother's day and she wants to go out for a steak? Fucking forget it that's too many calories and I can't eat it. What I'm trying to get at is that life is more important than your number, and if I happen to gain 5lbs over Christmas with my family spending time with them and enjoying it, then that's just a minor setback in consistent weight loss.
