Do any of you fags use wrist straps?
I never really thought of using them, but recently I've noticed some of my heavy lifts cause a weird pulling sensation on my left wrist/pinky/kinda forearm area. But I also don't know if they'll help or do anything for me.

I don't think they'd help with a wrist/forearm issue. But they're also cheap so there's no great loss to getting a pair and seeing if they help.

only on heavy pulls
they will help with gainz however the problem won't go away. Look up stretches for forearm pain and do those. I'd also dial back any extra forearm work youre doing till the pain is more manageable or ideally gone.

Funnily enough, ot was only my left grip that i had trouble with in the first place
But they help massively
I just worked a few more forearm exercises into my routine to make up for it

I use em since I injured my wrists from work. I use it at deadlifts and pullups so my wrist wont hurt that much, I put the wraps higher btw

if bodybuilding no straps, forearm size gains
if powerlifting then yes but only occasionally or no forearm gains
if weightlifting same but only for power shrugs and lots of cleans (trade for proper wrist wraps)

for injury do forearm exercises like wrist curls to strengthen and wear wrist wraps, your pic is lifting strips
I like to use them on front squats for that comfy rack

Yes. I'm a griplet and they help tremendously.
They do leave red marks on my wrists though.

i hop around gyms and some dont allow chalk so occasionally use them for deads. i also use them for accessories like heavy barbell rows. ignore people saying they are cheating, i've deadlifted 625 without them but they are definitely a useful tool

i use them to train my grip, i can easily deadlift 315lb and up to 405lb with mixed grip but barely 295lb with double overhand.
With the straps i can easily rep 315+ lbs with double overhand.

Straps are for grip. They won't fix your problem.

Look into flossing/stretching your ulnar nerve.

Yes on my heaviest sets because my gym is dumb af and doesnt allow chalk and my palms get so sweaty it isnt even funny. I basically struggle to do 5 sets with anything above 2pl8 because of the slipperyness
