What are the pros and cons of running a program like this alternating 5 days a week
Push:
Squat
Bench
Press
Dips
Pull:
Dead
Row
Chins
Curls

If you're gonna do a split I prefer U/L, but push/pull is fine.

Your hamstrings will snap :(

Seems very tolling on your legs. I would prefer an upper lower split. By keeping squats and deadlifts on the same day, you can allow for more recovery time between workouts, rather than work them on consecutive days.

Pros
>not complicated
>if you go balls to the wall you can complete a workout in under an hour
>hits all major muscle areas
>doesn't fuck around with "auxiliary lifts"
Cons
>After awhile, easy to plateau on
>gets boring after a few months of doing it
But I'm not sure how it works when you alternate it for 5 days in a row. Usually I did it where a=push and b=pull
>axbxaxx
>bxaxbxx
and the days in between where usually spent doing a running program I was doing alongside my push pull

Ive been doing this for like 2 years and you described me perfectly. I got good gains but I'm plateaued. What do I do next?
