Im 18 and recently just got into the gym, im a female i weigh 88kg (overweight i know..) but thats why im getting into the gym. im around 5'6. i usually only spend 40 minutes at the gym doing cardio but ive no specific routine. i usually use the treadmill, bike, spinning bike, rowing machine and the cross trainer. can somebody help me with a routine ? thanks in advance

The sticky will give you this info. But I pretty much started with the bar and added weight from there depending on how strong I was in that muscle group, gauging as I went. Like, I still only lift the bar plus 5lb weights for my Overhead Press, but I'm deadlifting almost 2 plates. Some areas of your body will already be stronger.
I basically do sets of 10 or to failure for:
Squats
Deadlifts
Bench
Overhead Press
Pullups [no weight yet, and you can do negative pullups if you can't do one]
Hanging leg raises
Then accessory exercises like Bicep Curls, Shoulder Flys, etc. for aesthetics.
That will definitely get you stronger and leaner, especially if you also keep at the cardio. Just increase the weight little by little as you get stronger.
