Yeah, you know, the non dick stuff that goes in your mouth before and after a workout

Don't fall for the supplement meme, keep lifting natty.

I took a multivitamin once, am I no longer natty?
I don't do much in the way of supplements (only post workout mix) and I get mine at bodybuildingdotcom. Reasonable prices and sometimes you get a free shaker cup (which I currently own 4 of thanks to them)
Really most of those supplements are snake oil. You can see some effect from creatine, but you best be working as hard as possible for an hour or so or it will just make you fat and have terrible farts.
Taking fish oil/ vitamin C can help with recovery if you're getting really sore, and getting a good amount of healthy fats can help you "feel" generally better. But there's no magic bullet that's gonna make you an ubermensch. There is no replacement for hard work. Roids have incredibly deleterious effects on your health over the long term.

Supplements work with food and hard work don't listen to these dyels who take a multivitamin and curl 15s and expect to be Arnold next day .. supplements don't work if your a skinny faggot who doesn't eat and just started lifting

OP here. Been lifting almost every day since the middle of November. I'm not really looking for a "magic bullet" as >>40461345
said, but just looking for something to help ensure I get enough protein and other useful nutrients to aid recovery. Though my main issue is I'm not entirely sure how much I need to eat in support muscle growth. I've been using an app to help cut my weight down, but ever since I hit my target weight I keep wondering if I'm eating too much or not enough.
