I get that /fit/ hates it, but I want to ask why
whats wrong with it anons?
I personally have no problem with their routine (except for those stupid ones that involes half a ball or that dual power clean, fuck that shit) but I fucking find the people in it to be pricks acting like special snowflakes and shit
i-im unironically curious
Look at webm, anon. Their shoulders must be rotating in their sockets. That will cause permanent damage that only surgery can somewhat fix. Also the "kipping" they do is basic physics. By using momentum they reduce their weight making it easier to do the pullup. If they just statically went up and down their muscle strength/mass would be much better.
Crossfit does this with most exercises.
Please be very safe.
I have nothing in particular against crossfit and think that it's mainly a meme to hate on it.

>get to class
>"teacher" is a beer bellied 5'7 fatty wearing nothing but under armor products
>day 2
>he tells us not to eat carbs, ever. tries to push paleo on all of us
>week later, figure out that it's just a crossfit class and not actual weight lifting
>drop the class, get my money back, and take bowling instead

i think this is a good talk, very precise in explaining the main problem of crossfit training
tl;dw you're paying a lot to hurt yourself doing reps for time in compound dangerous lifts, acting like a prick about it and being a fucking dyel while doing this
