How do I make myself a hard worker? I feel eternally cucked due to the fear that the smart people don't need to work hard and that all the cool and attractive people are outside having fun and sex without me. Not that I have any social life at all apart from 4chan.

There are many many smarter people than me in the office, but I have what a lot of them don't and that is drive. That's why I get the promotions while they stay still complaining about how life isn't fair.
Unless you're very lucky, which won't always happen, hard work is the number 1 factor in I'm proving your station in life and the results from reaching that station.
My motto is 'do it when it happens'. Just don't put shit off until later, do it now.
