So I just bought pic related, after years of lifting, I have never gotten the results I wanted. Now recently I have just gotten back and decided to go for a PSMF style-like diet where I want to cut my body fat before I lean bulk up.
I have never used any scale, I just used my own anecdotal estimation to portion food and rarely used bathroom scales to weigh myself (just used my physique to see any changes).
Basically, was this worth spending my money on? Is this he missing piece that I needed to make better food choices? If so what scales are the best (both for food or bodyweight scales) or which do you own? or does it even fucking matter and I'm just a dyel faggot that will never make it?
I have one, dont use it much tho.
Combined with MyFitnessPal or some other detailed tracker, a scale can be very accurate for keeping track of what you're eating. It also can make cooking very easy, from baking to more simple stuff like portioning meat.
All of that said, I hate MFP cause it's slow and a pain in the ass. I just try to stick to a keto diet and spend my time doing fun stuff (or looking at guys on a Thai auto enthusiast image board)
I don't take any dieter seriously unless he DOES have (and use) one, anon. Most people wildly underestimate how much they are actually eating. Use grams and be accurate.

you mean overestimate?

I have used one almost every day for years, they aren't that expensive.

They underestimate how much they are actually eating meaning if they do not weigh something they think they are only eating one portion of it when they are eating more. Often much more. But they track it as one serving. Then they wonder why they don't lose weight.
