How accurate is this app when it comes to your daily calorie goals?
Mine is telling me that to lose one pound a week I need to keep under 2260.
I'm 5'9 230 pounds.
Nothing is that accurate since everyone is so different. Start with 2260 and adjust every few weeks based on results.

I did it back in 2014 with a bunch of guys from /fit/
Joined military and never really went back

Its goals are very accurate. However, it can't track your daily calories any better than you can. The most attention you pay, the better you'll do.

well just take your maintenance calories and minus 500. probably close to 2260 right?

That's quite a bit. Never go over 2000kcal unless bulking.
At your height and weight I would do 1800.

I miss being active-duty. I had a medical profile for coxa saltans and could go to the gym to do cardio for PT. Then I would go again after work to lift. It was amazing.
Now I'm in a desk job and am so bored I can't help but be sleepy by the time I get off.

just finished my first month using this + exercise
down 11lbs so far with the app telling me to stay at about 1700 calories/day to lose 2lbs a week
seems fairly accurate to me although sometimes i need to double check on certain items in their database
