Also, is swimming for cardio better than running? Im 100+ lbs overweight and I would like to preserve my joints somewhat.
for fat/old people, swimming is WAY better than any other cardio
also start at the sticky

First off, thanks for answering, ive been asking for some guidance for almost 2 weeks now with no answers.
Also, I read the sticky, created a meal plan based on 4 meals per day, and have calculated:
> starting weight = 337
> daily caloric intake = 2000-2189
> carbs = 200-220
> protein = 220
> fats = 49
As for my routine:
> 10 min cardio warm-up
> 35-45 min weight training (2-3 muscle groups)
> 30-40 min swim (200 m warm up, 600 m intense and continuous, 150-200 warm down)

damn dude no need to take such a literal approach to it... its not that hard to lose weight especially when you're obese. Just do your swimming and stop gorging yourself .. ffs

I honestly don't know what you were expecting here.

sounds about right.
Don't forget to eat ton of vegetables and that it would be probably easier if those carbs were coming from nice sources (potatoes, oatmeal, occasional fruit)

Ima stuff myself with veggies.
And im going to do some carb cycling, while also minimizing carbs and fruits during the afternoon hours, only partaking in them from morning to mid day
