I posted this on some other boards but here goes

I got in an accident and ended up injuring myself so now I've got five stitches, the cover protecting the stitches and the stitches themselves stop me from eating properly, plus I'm on ibuprofen and antibiotics to stop infections, what can I do to make sure I don't lose my gains, I'm having troubles eating blueberries and have to drink through a straw as so not to dissolve my stitching

blend your food and eat 24/7. change everything into smoothies, i like to use curd cheese water as base and then ad protein power for flavors or fresh fruit.
get a thick straw and you can do soups too. just mix it well. a last resort you can do soylent for a week.

also it takes 2-3 week to get notable gains loss ( besides seize loss from less water retention in the muscles). even longer for casuals.

I had a worse cut right in the middle of my upper lip. I was a kid at the time but afaik it healed quickly and there was basically no pain involved. I doubt you even need the meds. As for smiling and laughing, just fucking don't for a week, how hard can that be?

Don't worry about your autistic lifting hobby, you will lose virtually nothing in one week. Plus, you can still work out, right? It's just eating that's a problem. You'll be able to eat normally very soon. Just rationalize it to yourself as some new trick like intermittent fasting for several days.
