>You need a strength base before doing a hypertrophy routine
When will this meme die?

>don't lift to impress, lift to progress
Pretty funny when they're talking about vanity muscles desu

It's retarded
It's not like you won't get stronger from a split
>>40386216
Having a good looking body does a lot more for you than squatting a lot
>>40386216
Reddit is unironically better than /fit/ for advice nowadays
When will you compensating manlets learn? You don't need to lift weights for hypertrophy. Go buy a copy of Convict Conditioning and see your results after just 6 weeks.

When will these fags stop posting here?
>>40386581
Prisoners so nothing but lift/body weight for hours on end to failure. They are literally the kings of hypertrophy training, even if they dont realize it.
>>40386607
Exactly, but minus the lifting. Lifting is for tools. if you want to do hypertrophy, do bodyweight.
>>40386581
>>40386612
This is an ineffective way to train. Yes you can achieve results with this but why limit yourself when using weights and machines achieves your goals easier?

yeah because they are not on drugs and semen. do you really expect someone to grow when they eat like 2 shitty meals a day and can't bulk on that? they need outside food source and cocktails, and of course shower protein

>Having a good looking body does a lot more for you than squatting a lot
why be an underachieving bitch?
you can have both.
I'm sure this question will stir up trouble, but is there really a hypertrophy range? I do 4x8 or 3x10 with as much weight as I can right now and am gaining consistently, but slowly. Could I be growing faster with a different rep scheme?
>>40388855
nice I was about to ask this exact same thing
>>40388855
>4x8 or 3x10
This is what I do for canditos strength/hypertrophy routine so it's probably okay.
