Classes are challenging but doable if you have your shit together. A few of the students aren't really that smart, but on generally everyone is at least above average.

Girls are very hot. Hot girls easily outnumber average/ugly ones. At least in my experience. I'm studying engineering, so my classes are mostly male and most of my interactions with women are outside of class. Maybe the uggo ones just go straight home after class and that's why I don't see them.

Itasca Community College. The gym is kinda small, but has a good mix of racks, machines, and dumbbells. There's always a bunch of uppity freshman basketball and football players who think they are going pro that like to drop weights on the floor and don't rerack the weights. I rarely use the gym anymore, today I paid 7 bucks to go to the YMCA because better equipment, pool, hot tub, sauna, and you actually meet and chat with friendly strangers. I also like to go cross country skiing when I get the chance.

Pretty good except most of the peoples form on squat is laughable and not deep what so ever. We have a rock climbing wall inside the gym and an indoor track.

I'm doing engineering and am considering either UCLA or USC? Which is better from a non-meme perspective? I know that UCLA is ranked higher, but here's what I've heard.

Oh damn, that's clever as fuck. I was a cadre sergeant last year, had the highest attrition during Hell week...with two knobs dropping out. I wasn't even bending or breaking the rules, but due to all the the paperwork being filed in a certain way, they launched an investigation into the company, having other HA's spying on us. Then later in the year they started the purge, due to one knob leaving the school and leaving behind a note that chronicled all the hazing going on behind closed doors. Gym is nothing to write home about. Decent and new, but free weight area is too small for the amount of people who go there. Fitness culture is pretty big on campus, the uni has at least 4 successful sport teams so that's above the rest of the UK average where most unis don't even care about sports.

Anyways, gym is alright. Lack of squat racks for the amount of people, you literally have to wait in line for 15-20 minutes to get on one. Plenty of bench presses though. The girls mostly stick to cardio, though there are about 5 girls who are shredded as fuck I see lifting the same time every day as me. Girls around campus are pretty attractive as well (though many are bitchy, gotta really weed through them). Biggest complaint is you can't deadlift more than 225 without the workers getting their jimmies rustled. Really inhibits gains

Our Gym is whatever, the MAC is nicer than the other weight room, but both are small and packed as fuck unless you come in the middle of the day. UCLA and UCI have a much nicer set-up from what I've seen and experienced. Gym culture breaks down into five groups:
>Serious lifters: You know who these people are, they push weight and know what the fuck they're doing

>Recovering curlbros: curlbros making their first forays into powerlifting or olympic, can be seen with shitty nike or valero belts quarter-squatting or ego-lifting a 315 lbs. deadlift with hitching and a rounded back.

>SS or intermediate lifters: They can do some weight, but not a lot, but at least they have some good form and don't trigger your autism.

>Curlbros, Glute girls, and cardiobunnies: It's either a bro in his frat's rush tanktop hitting curls and chest for the 4th time this week; the girl who never even bothers with the weight room; or the chick that only does lower body and plyometrics.

>The "I have no fucking idea what I'm doing at all" class: Usually a class populated by the Changs and Pajeets, usually wandering around the gym looking like a deer in the headlights or occupying a rack with a bizarre eastern interpretation of traditional lifts, and by bizarre, I mean completely fucking retarded.

There's a small gym where I go but the dumbbells go to 50 and there's no squat rack, just a smith machine. For some reason everyone pays 35 a semester for the poor excuse for a weight room.

I use to go to a power lifting gym, make so little money that the YMCA let's me in for 15 a month. That's half of what I'd pay for any of the local powerlifting gyms even with my student discount.
