Learn to actually count, you're messing up somewhere. Get a scale and measure your food so you understand what the portions in relation to calories look like.

For instance, a serving of spray whipped cream is 5g. I would have absolutely no clue what 5g of whipped cream looked like if I didn't pull out my weed scale and measure, I actually thought it was less than it was but I could've easily been wrong in the other direction.

I saw it explained like this the other day:

Imagine your body is this roll of toilet paper, it's one ply because you're useless.

The cardboard tube in the middle is your goal body, and the white tissue is the extra fat, each square representing a lb. When the roll is covered in tissue, it might take 4 squares to wrap around the roll one time, but when you start getting down to the last few, one square will wrap around an entire time. As you get closer to your goal weight, the progress will be more evident on a pound by pound basis

Im starting to crave food less and fining ways to beat my cravings. Like that insane drug addict feeling you get for food that you can't describe, I've found that putting off eating for 2 hours and making it something to look forward to helps. After like 30 minutes to an hour I lose my craving.

So far so good considering this is my first cut on an SSRI to help me not want to fucking die and give into the cravings so I have high hopes I can drop the 100 pounds I need to drop, get off zoloft with a healthy diet and excercise and actually be a person.

I described my blog really cheery but actually im super bored. Oh well at least im not stuffing myself 24/7 and that feels pretty fulfilling.

Download the app LoseIt or MyFitnessPal. I use LoseIt, I just like the feel of it compared to MFP.

LOG EVERY SINGLE FUCKING CALORIE YOU EAT. EVERY SINGLE ONE. You do yourself no favors cheating at this. Even if you go over your caloric budget, make up for it later in the week. It is a marathon not a sprint.

Download Happy Scale if you have ios, I like it, it's kind of cheesy but it's nice to see the progress. This app is not necessary, MFP and LoseIt are.

5'10 fat fuck here. Hit my peak of 337 lbs about a month ago and I just said fuck that shit. Lowest was 280lbs via starvation methods and it didn't last

Just started keto today. Today's meals are

Dropped from 86kg/~189.5 lbs to 76kg/~167.5 lbs.

Being 170cm/5'7" it's actually quite the cut.

I must also add that I only weigh myself in the morning after a good piss and 12+ hours after the last food/drink, and only in shorts. If you do it instead in the evening with clothes on it can be a lot more (10+ pounds easily).
Also I do no lifting (sorry but €70/month for the nearest gym simply doesn't fly at the moment, so it's just some bodyweight at home which I started 2 weeks ago) which means less muscle repair water retention which can be another couple extra pounds, so yeah you can definitely look leaner at higher weight but lower BF%, if you've gone through a bulk/cut since your lowest.

Well I did CICO too without actively counting cals (only started now in the home stretch), but then again I was not super overweight for a long time (peak BMI of 27.6, gained slowly over many years), so I never overate by much, but consistently by a little which added up. So yeah things like keto might be the easier choice for those who let's say overate by >500 for years/decades

I'm 5'7. Top weight that I recorded was 313. I'm 212 now. For the past 2 months I haven't lost a single pound. I don't know if I'm in starvation mode or what, because I'm still so fat starvation should be a long ways away.

I've had so few calories today that one beer has me 7 beers fucked up.
I've lost 15 pounds in 5 weeks, from 230 I'm trying to get to 180 at 5'11".
I've done it before and I will do it again.
But 1400 calories a day is torture

Apples
Egg White
Carrots
Welch's Fiber Grape Juice (2 glasses a day)

I think it's because I dropped 30 lbs in HS, got lean, and then put on weight later. I was fairly /fit/ so I'm assuming I'm denser than your average fat person whose been fat for life and has very little muscle mass. I gained back around 40lbs

Made it from 150 to 125 in the latter half of 2016, even managed to not gain weight over the holidays, but now I'm back up to 130 and for the life of me can't seem to get lower.

1200 kcal/day, food logged in mfp and measured using a food scale. I prepare all meals from scratch, except for a daily kirkland signature protein bar (like a quest bar knockoff). Usually I'm a bit under my 1200kcal goal.

Lift 4-5x a week, schedule depending. Doing a full-body routine alternating A/B days, 3x8 for max sets.

Only thing I've changed in the last few weeks is finally adding creatine (5g/day) back into my supps list, but, my understanding of that is that it should add only 1-2 lbs of water weight and NOT touch my weight loss, meaning I should've done 125 --> 127 --> 125 --> 124 --> etc.

This is getting very frustrating, as it has been eight weeks since my last weigh-in where I was *lower* than the previous week.
