Anyone else have nothing to do when you're not working out? Especially now on spring break with no work/school

>Contemplate why am I even trying
>>40352363
>no work
your own fault man. get a job and some money while you can
>>40352363
I envy you. Try balancing work, studies, friends (gf) and gym
>>40352363
I wish I had that luxury. Full time work, graduate degree (half time) and gym. Back when I only had to worry about being /fit/ was a lot more comfy.
>he puts lifting before actually working
>mommy feeds him tendies and protons
NEET here. Sundays are the worst.
I try to spend as long as I can in the gym, 2h+ everyday.
At least I'm 100% invested in /fit/ness, so I'm gonna make it sooner... right?
I wish I didn't have to work a shitty job just to survive. I guess I could move back in my parents but the feeling of being dependent on someone else makes me think way too poorly of myself.
>>40352625
Aslong as youre able to put that work ethic into some other objectives soon, yes.
Or become pro instahoe
I work 6 days a month, the other days its basicly, Wake up, eat, lift, eat and lay in bed watching movies untill I fall asleep.

What's your job that allows so little on time
https://youtu.be/_J09aeeBVtk
Why do none of you fools pick up a hobby? You obviously have the discipline to do so, and I'm sure many of you have the money and time as well. I bought a dslr last year and started doing landscape and street photography. Why not start drawing, writing or something? Perhaps learn astronomy. A hobby makes you more appealing to grills too. Something out there interests you find it!
Ps bitches love a man who can cook dank food.
>>40353401
What is dank food dude
>>40353456
>crab cakes w/ tomato cheddar bisque
>blue cheese bacon burger w/ fries
>Philly cheese steak
You can get more refined than this but still great tasting food.
>>40353522
>good food
>lists culinary abominations
>>40353546
My dude You've missed the point.
>>40353401
>>40353522
Why do you need to be able to cook "awesome food", like fancy restaurant-quality stuff?
what's wrong with just being able to cook regular food, like steak, chicken, fish, vegetables, etc
>>40353580
You don't have to there's nothing wrong with simplicity either. You can make all those things taste great, but a qt isn't going to be impressed with unseasoned chicken and steamed broccoli.
>>40353602
Oh really, so you will just bend over backwards working your ass off to make something for a girl that she would never make herself just to have a chance at having sex with her?
cuck
>in the gym
>spend maybe 5 hours a day there, even when not working just generally sit around and watch the personal trainers
>decide to take up a hobby
>over the course of a week make really rudimentary pokemon style trading cards for each of the PT at the gym
>rank them by motivation, form, personality, age, price and client retention skills
>go to the gym and hand them out
>they all thank me and I am sure they are happy with their gifts
>go to the gym for the next few days, everything is normal
>then one of the trainers approaches and asks to speak with me
>tells me I am in there too often
>threatens I will be banned if I come for more than 6 hours per week (I need at least 10 for my lifts)
>try to negoiate up to 15 hours
>they refuse
>end up quitting and joining another gym
>spending 8 hours a day there, only leave at like 6pm and when I need food
I don't really feel welcome anywhere else
>>40353626
I enjoy cooking for myself, but if other people like it too that's even better.
>12hrs a day commuting/work
>2hrs a day in gym
>nothing to do on weekends
so bored
>>40353637
What? No this is a joke. Has to be a joke
Spring break? It's February nigga

I would do cardio on that day but I already do it on top of the 6 gym days
people who can't keep themselves entertained are a waste of life
>>40352363
>post yfw you're going to the gym tomorrow
pick up a martial art
you can be /nothingbutgymandmartialarts/ with me
>>40353637
Hola Redditos Amigos!
>>40353970
Martial arts really would be the way forward
You can turn up as it opens, help with the kids classes, do the senior classes and stay for sparring and that's totally normal for 3-4 hours a day
>>40352584
It's not a luxury, it's mental hell.
Men need to work and pursue objectives in order to be happy.
Workout is complementary, it can't be the main/only thing.

>>40353964

>>40353964
Del0ad week bbyyyyyy
>>40354670
Well everyone starts somewhere just like with lifting. You probably couldn't or didn't feel like you could lift much. But you got stronger and better. A hobby doesn't even need to be expensive or all that time consuming and it's hyper goal oriented which is good for gains.
>>40353401
>I bought a dslr last year and started doing landscape and street photography
Hahaha goddamn, if not a joke you should probably kys my dude... fucking lmao
>>40354779

>literal snowstorm in Ontario right now
>Risk almost ending up in a ditch to get to 24/7 gym
>Only one here at prime time
Not sure if this is a testament to my dedication or autism
>be me, casual lifter for 2 years
>started with calisthenics, got up to 40kg 1RM weighted pull up and 55kg 1RM weighted dips, strength plateau for like 3 months
>decide to bring my lifts forward this winter, want to get to 55kg 1rm weighted pull ups and 70kg 1rm weighted dips in three months or four
>buy a shitload of food and sleep like 8-10 hours every day
>plateau in the first week
>change routine for the next six weeks, do volume and deloads, try again, same plateau as before
>try with concurrent periodization training
>same plateau
God is fucking with me, why always i put myself into something i always fail
I did more gains when i was casually lifting without looking too much into it
Fuck this shit, I will mantain and join a boxing club
>>40355925

>>40352363
it's a rainy grey sunday here. Depressing as fuck. Spent the whole day reading a pdf about starting strength (not even the actual book cause I can't find it) I downloaded from bodybuilding.com
I'm currently neet cause I quit job recently so all I do besides gym is watching tv, playing videogames, browsing /fit/ and learning about fitness on the internet.
>>40353401
>discipline
lifting weights is easy dude
>>40357168
what about practicing fitness? what is your plan to get out of neetness
>>40357663
I do go to the gym but I research a lot on the internet to learn more and better my technique on exercises.
I'm not sure, for now I'll just keep doing this
>>40357706
ooh ok i thought you meant you just researched.
>>40353401
My hobby is to jack off to a midget porn
I was /nothingbutgym/ until I said fuck it and stopped being an autist about saving money and signed up for skydiving training. it's expensive as fuck and takes up basically every weekend.

Summer job, fishing, sun bathing, hanging out with friends, drinking in a beer garden with friends, going on tinder and finding a girl, go hiking, go on coastal walks, take up boxing, learn a new language, go to the library and increase knowledge.
Off the top of my head there is somethings to do.
