You can press off the floor. I'd do it with dumbells to retain most of your range of motion, though
>>40352090
that's actually a word for a completely different exercise than what the OP requested
>>40352329
pushups are literally bench press with whole Earth
>>40352329
is really any difference between a weighted pushup and a bench press?
>>40353332
Well yeah, actually when you bench you have a whole bench stabilizing your core, so I guess pushups engage more or less the same muscles as bp (the movement from shoulders, triceps, pecs and stuff is the same I guess?) in addition to a whole series of stabilizers.

Pushups are for skelly or fatass dyel faggots.
Look up floor presses OP

OHP + pushups
Bench press = Shoulders remain agaisnt the bench thus the infraspinatus are contracted, the shoulders are lower than the pecs -> more pecs action (more pressure, stretch) =they work more, bigger pecs
Push ups = Shoulders move along with the movement, they are more involved in the press

Yes because with a push up your body is behaving like a lever, so the motion is curved. With a bench press, you're simply pushing your arms in a straight line to move the weight.

weighted pushups are far superior to bench, especially the harder variations such as incline or diamond.

called a floor press

>doing quarter reps because your elbows can't go low
