When did you grow out of using machines?
I was 17 when I realised how important the stabilzer muscles are

what did he mean by this?

you probably couldn't name a single one of these stabilizer muscles.
machines have their place.
I bought a pair of dumbbells to start getting fitter
Is this a good routine, at least for a beginner?

>Machine doesn't rhyme with machine
>Shart in mart detected
>doing pressing exercises with a barbell
>drastically increasing your risk of injury
>limiting your ROM
I legitimately can't believe people who aren't competitive power lifters still do barbell bench and overhead
ronnie in his prime was a beast. no one compares. i love the mixture of powerlifter and bodybuilder. he's he only man i would turn gay for.

Machines are only good for injured people who must do nothing more than linear movements. And for bodybuilders who need some additional pump. Stabilizer muscles in this case are a meme. Pecs cotract and control themselves. There are no other muscles which do that for them. Same with calves and hamstrings for instance. When you go down into a squat, their controlled concentric contraction stabilizes your knees.

unlike you some people weren't retards to begin with

>he doesn't have glutes
>he doesn't have hip flexors
>he doesnt have like half the fucking muscles a normal person has
Stabilizers are real.

I was talking about the knee, not the entire leg and hip. The point is that there are hardly any muscles in your body with stabilization as their sole action. Dumbbell exercises won't activatr any more muscles, unless you include rotational movements.
My schedule is Push/Legs/rest Repeast
Every three days I switch from 3x20, 4x12, 5x6
Machines and pulleys for the light weight high reps
Dumbells for that medium-high
Barbells for the heavy
And my muscles stay confused and fresh

Compared to what? Barbell work? Probably not. Machines? Definitely.
