With countless new studies coming out on the health benefits of saturated fats, there's one question.

How much is too much?

On one end, government organizations stick to old studies and limit intake too much. On the other end, people seemingly obsessed with health are saying there's no such thing as too much saturated fat and that it actually leads to less heart complications.

I'm convinced that saturated fat is good for you, but how many grams of it a day would you recommend and why?

I just eat a moderate amount of fat (i don't go out of my way to eat more) and disregard whether it's saturated or not. Only fats i try to restrict are from seed oils.

What are these studies? The best I've seen is that they aren't bad, not that they're good, and even those studies are generally regarded as being poor quality.

You shouldn't eat an "unlimited amount", but eating a reasonable amount is perfectly ok and your not going to keel over from a heart attack by eating it. The bs that saturated fats are the devil has been disproved

Yeah they were conflated with trans saturated fats (hydrogenated bullshit oil, margarine, etc) for decades, but now science is realizing. Just stay away from Tumblr and you should be fine.
