Powerlifting is the competition where you do squats, bench pressses, and deadlifts.

Powerlifting training (a type of strength training but more focused on getting you strong at the three main lifts) often involves other lifts as accessories, like the OHP or even cleans.

I personally find it a bit too "weird" to pull with the feet so close together, but that's a personal preference really. Lots of strong pullers prefer a close stance like that.

Back looks definitely tight and flexed, extended all the way through and lats flexed back nicely. If your goal is straight back pulling, that is textbook perfect.
Hams and glutes look loaded nicely as well... your hips probably rose a bit when you started the pull, but dynamic starts aren't really a bad thing.

having a lateral pulldown on RD with a press is very comfortable and verticle pulls are good to have (weighted pull ups, you can even just add 1kg to weighted pull ups every week or two weeks on RD and still smash ID)


women on ID end up doing better with 85%.

it could be a flexibility issue but usually hip flexibility isn't restrictive in the squat(if you go ATG and don't usually stretch them it certainly could be, though). I think it's more of a form issue, what really helped me was focusing on the obliques near my lower back, this will draw your glutes back, up and to the side and allow you to really "sit" into the squat. You want to think of glutes less as pushing you up and more as pulling, if that makes any sense.

hip flexibility can def make things easier and more comfortable, there are two types stretches for the hip flexor:

First thing to mention is, PFPS is still kind of a mystery when it comes to its causes (we have a few good hypothesis but nothing entirely conclusive so far).
Which means, the treatment for it is in general conservative (lots of resting).

The first thing is, PFPS may have been caused by overuse. In this case, you need some rest first. Same things apply from the inflammation recommendations: heat, immobilization, rest for a week or so, fish/krill oil.

One of the most important parts to getting rid of PFPS is strengthening the quad muscles. And we have to do so in a way that does not trigger you pain.
Here's what I suggest:
- Bulgarian Split Squats (3/4 of the focus)
- Highbar squats ECCENTRIC-only (1/4 of the focus)
You can use tape or braces to help stabilize your knee

Another part is avoiding things that make the symptoms worse.
For example, avoid:
- Sitting with bent knees for a long time
- Highbar/lowbar/front squatting
