The problem with the NPCs in Skyrim, though, is that they're pretty politicized anyway, so those that think Ulfric is the tits will think he has the might to crush the Thalmor, and the Empire guys think otherwise.

I think it depends on the timing of the invasion as well as the dominant political faction. The Empire has some advantage if they now because the Thalmor are licking their wounds after that shit in Hammerfell, but they probably won't take it because they've still got the adjacent spaces of Cyrodiil to cover. If Ulfric took power, then he would have no hesitance about flushing out the smattering of Thalmor stationed in Skyrim, and it would be hell for the Thalmor to reinforce because of the recovery I just mentioned, and the fact that geographically Skyrim is a bitch to get into with the icy waters to the north, the mountains through the south, and the fact that they'd have to march any land forces through massive territory just to get to those mountains.

Might to might, Nords get BTFO by the Thalmor under Ulfric, but sacking Skyrim would require a fuckton of strategy and time which the elves don't have

This is totally my interpretation, but I think she means that the Stormcloaks as a faction, not necessarily all of Skyrim.

If Skyrim unified, they basically just need to hold their own until the Empire has enough forces to strike back against the Thalmor. That's the easy part because of the advantages I mentioned. That being said, there's also no real reason outside of some pettiness that the Empire can't strike a deal with Skyrim to fight once Cyrodiil has more stability. The Empire could do the same with Hammerfell too if they weren't too busy being caught up in their own turf wars.

Nords and Redguards are tied for best combined Strength, Endurance, Speed, and Agility. However Redguards receive an additional bonus to Athletics, so I would say Redguards are the most fit.

Actually I take that back about Nords. While they are tied in Oblivion, in Morrowind their Agility is tied for worst with Imperials and Bretons, so basically they are strong, but kind of awkward and clumsy.
