The Apple Watch 2 lists "active calories" as a separate metric, which I interpret as "calories burned beyond your basal rate", and therefore the number it gives I take to be "extra" calories added on to the total I can consume that day. Is that correct?
I ask in part because the watch interacts with My Fitness Pal and feeds the activity data into it, but MFP only accepts calories specifically logged as an exercise; i.e. if I run for an hour and burn 1000 calories and log it, and in the rest of the day burn an extra 500 and don't log it, MFP only records the 1000 from the run.

I got a free tub of ON preworkout and I'm really liking it. Mostly because liquid caffeine hits faster/stronger, partially because I like fruit punch. I used to drink coffee but I like to vary things
