Alright /fit/ I'm in some need of advice.
Over the winter I have put on some serious mass, unfortunately I threw on some unwanted pounds. My body type (endomorph) has always retained fat deposits but now I'm just tired of having a husky build and would like to try cutting. I'd like to do this without losing too much of my size. Now I'm fairly green on a few aspects so I'll just cut straight to the questions I have:
>How many calories a day should I consume?
>What macros should I follow?
>How much cardio should I do?
Currently I weigh 200lbs and am 5ft 11in.
>calculate TDEE
>subtract 500 cal from that
>less fat and carbs, maintain protein
>cardio: none.
your diet should take care of it. calories in, calories out.

How does one figure out their TDEE? & I shouldn't do any cardio at all? not even low intensity? I will continue lifting weights but I feel as if that's not enough.

I did a quick test online and it said my BMR is 1900. Eating 1400 calories a day seems rather low don't you agree?

Lifting burns calories.
Walking burns calories
Holding your head upright while you work at a fucking desk burns calories

Mesomorphs aren't real, you're not an endomorph. You don't retain weight you just aren't cutting as much as you think you are tubby.

You want to cut 500 Cal from your maintenance. I made that mistake when I first tried to cut and felt awful.

Cardio is great for cutting..

was thinking the same

How often should I do cardio and for how long at a time? Should I do high intensity intervals or maintain a steady pace? Again I'm not all that knowledgable
