hyper extension on deadlift is safe and shouldnt cause back pain. you problem is with something else anon
I know that feel bro. Last week I was doing some deficit deadlifts and on my 4th rep on the way down I felt a fucking snap/pop on my lower back. The pain was a solid 7/10. I don't understand why it happened on the way down though? I'm guessing I lost tightness or I went down too fast?
Then the next day I get pain going down my left leg which I know is from the sciatic nerve so I'm guessing I have a herniated disc. Ive been stretching and resting for about 4 days now and the pain is practically gone but I'm gonna lay off squats and deads for at least 3 weeks and do a bro split. Sucks cuz I hit a 4 pl8 deadlift about 4 weeks ago and I was getting ready for another pr but that probably wont be happening anytime soon. I won't give up deadlifts I just gotta fix my form and work my way back up again. We're all gonna make it.

Have you ever deadlifted? Nothing compares to it

I spent 5 years on and off trying to fix my squat and deadlift technique. As i got back pain from doing it incorrectly. Now i can lock my lower back into propper position and my back have never felt better. The squat and deadlift is shootin up.
Never give u and you will make it, OP
what does it mean to hyper extend the back? does that mean rounded back?
That feel when 6'4" with long legs and basically can't deadlift with proper form at all
