this pic is like 3 months old, my stats are current. im a bit bigger/leaner right now (but still same weight, basically recomping). what makes you think my stats are bullshit? ive been training mostly for strength. i do limit rest times to 5 minutes max (usually 3-5 minutes rest), but im sure i could lift heavier + with more intensity if i rested longer but i dont want to take forever in the gym

1. I never try to deadlift so much that I have to round my back and risk injuring myself

2. I always go until my ass is MAXIMUM 1-2 inches from the ground

3. OHP is my favorite lift and I do a fuckload of it, like maybe 10 or 12 sets some days

U see a lot of guys in the gym throw up 3 pl8, 4 pl8 on the squat, and then they quarter squat it 3 times, and then they re rack it

this is not my goals, I just want to devolp my quads and my posterior chain

I have much less/no interest in impressing people with numbers.

If I wanted, I could just make up the numbers, and since we are not in a gym, I cannot be proven wrong.

I've found that dropping down to heavy triples has helped my bench a lot. Don't worry about OHP first.

Also, dumbbell work is super useful to mix it up.

Hey, It's me. Shiritaki noodles are a special type of tuber that are 0 cals. I order from amazon, pretty expensive, but worth it.

My day is pretty much the same. 4eggs, 6 egg whites in morning, lunch is mainly salad with some chicken, and dinner is a huge plate of the special noodles with some chicken and soy sauce. Pre-workout is a bowl of oatmeal/carbs, and I have the protein fluff recipe from the misc as well to fill me up before I sleep.

About 6'0, 185 lbs now. Currently cutting at 2200 cals with about 250g protein. I could cut lower/faster, but in the past going below this just meant I lost mainly muscle. I cut longer (started Dec 1, going to Apr 1), but slowly, and it's been working pretty well.

Can I just fucking cut at like a 1200 kcal deficit? Today I weighed 229 at 6'5", so in five or so months I have dropped 43 lbs. 5 fried eggs with olive oil (370 kcal)
50g brown beans (200 kcal)
50g bread (120 kcal)
500ml milk (230 kcal)
35g whey protein (135 kcal)
150g oats (560 kcal)
375g pasta/rice/similar (850 kcal)
50g simple carbs (200 kcal)
total: 2400 - 2600 kcal

I measure weight every morning after taking a shit.
This way the weight fluctuates by no more than 0.2 kg across days.

As for my lifts
Squat has gone from 70kg to 80kg
Bench has gone from 42.5kg to 50kg
DL has gone from 70kg to 80kg
OHP from 30kg to 37.5kg
Power clean from 40kg to 45kg

Hello fit this is my 1-year progress picture, how do you think I am doing?

My diet is IIFYM and my routine has changed around a couple times but for now (because of school and work) I'm doing Blaha's ice cream fitness.

Not the last guy, but as a fellow manlet I will add that a bit of extra weight makes you look far thicker than it does for a taller person. So cutting will make you look more shapely (assuming you're not too dyel under the flab), where as adding more bulk will just make you look more square. At least that has been my experience. So personally I'd cut, unless you're going for the pic related "dwarven square" aesthetic.
