Is 100kg deadlifts something to be proud about?
>>40242681
No not really. However the weight your working at is relative to your own circumstances; injuries, weight, experience etc. Just keep progressing and compare yourself to you the previous week/month.
>>40242681
if you progressed a lot then yes.
>>40242681
if you are a small woman (below 50kg bw) then yes
>>40242681
if you are male, absolutely not
actually accomplish something notable before you start patting yourself on the back
405 deadlift is officially not weak
500 deadlift is strong
585 is very strong
past that you're getting into good powerlifter territory and past that you're getting into konstantinovs and pete rubish territory
On /fit/, no
Around skinnyfat manlet friends, possibly
However it also depends on your progress, if you started at 40kg a month ago it's awesome

I deadlifted 100kg (or lmao2plaets) when i was a month into my linear progression at 6'2 160 lbs. So no, its the definition of novice weight for a male.

If you're a 15 year old

>>40242681
This is why I don't tell people what weight I lift when they ask
>>40244571
t. weak little boy

It's a number that most people can't pull without some sort of training. So it is kind of an accomplishment.
But except for the very small or injured, it isn't an end goal.
Its a good start.
