I've decided to make change in my life and the first step is getting my house stocked with only the foods I'll be eating. So I'll be shopping weekly and I tried my best to keep the total cost to under 70 dollars.
Just posting here to get some confirmation that the foods that the diet consists of are satisfactory.

For breakfast, soft boiled eggs along with a bowl of pinto or navy beans.
For lunch, a piece of chicken or salmon, steamed or poached along with a bowl of navy or pinto beans. Broccoli at the side.
For dinner, salad and green beans. Eating until satisfied.
Its going to be 2400 calories daily, then that will go down to 2000 after a year. I don't plan to count calories so much as just buy enough food for only a week and split up everything based on the nutritional information.

Even easier go on bb.com or rich pianas website and look at the prepared meals, you don't have to buy them but just look at them and copy it yourself
eggs aren't meat
it looks fine, but you should do intermittent fasting instead of restricting your calories daily. IF will decrease your bmr less.

I tried a 16/8 fast but it didn't work. After weeks it seemed like I was gaining so I gave up on it.
Just because you fast for a long time, doesn't stop you from overeating when you can eat.

yeah i meant more like alternate day fasting. something where you eat nothing at least two days a week.

well studies have shown that people don't do that.
