if your growth plates are closed your only option is the procedure where they snap your femurs repeatedly to make them regrow longer.

endocrinologists and pediatricians will tell you that your growth plates close when you stop growing/experience your last growth spurt from puberty.

this is not true. i hadn't grown since i was 17 years old when after taking 10mg daily of mk677 i grew 1cm over a period of two months. though i dont have pictures of my growth chart even if i did some would assert that i just had a one off late bloom spurt.

it was at a clinic visit that this change was recorded. they have data on my height since i was around 7 years old, due to a chronic illness. anyway, this 1cm was WAY over the normal measurement error of maybe 5-10 hundredths of an inch. still taking ibutamoren and wondering how much more i'll grow, if at all.

friendly reminder to all skeptics of "hurr ibutamoren made me taller" that ibutamoren was literally DEVELOPED as a drug to increase growth hormone levels in underdeveloped children to make them get larger.

idk when growth plates truly close, idk how much gains you can reap from mk677 or if it stops making your taller past a point, regardless of your growth plates being open or not, but i honestly think it could be good for a few centimeters, possibly more.

also, i was eating at a deficit & occasionally missed days. i was so certain it wouldnt do anything i wasnt encouraged to take it routinely. but now i've doubled my dose to what many people take daily, 20mg, and i'm never missing it, trying to take it with meals and before sleep.

and honestly, i have no idea that i'm not just experiencing a random growth spurt after 2 years of not growing at all. there's a story in my family that my uncle left for college and was about 5'10 and then came back 6'5.
