Or someone who walks on a treadmill for an hour and then rewards themselves with a Big Mac instead of following through on a good diet. Or the alcoholic who promises every drink is his last drink ever.

He can talk day and night about why he is the way he is, he can hire the smartest people to puke all kinds of redundant information at him, he can confess his mistakes and tell himself that means he's learning from them, but at the end of all the planning he's only going to keep doing what he's doing.

As a recovering fatass these threads make my blood pressure higher than it is already. I brcame fat because I ate too much, and moved around too little. But i never had all of these fucking delusions about my size. I just didn't really take care of myself, and ate too much.

I just can't even read or watch what some of these fat turds have to say. Losing weight isn't ven THAT hard. It's a struggle to be sure, but come on. The sea of misinformation out there is borderline impossible to penetrate without guidance. What bothers me most is them complaining about how dieting is expensive. I live on $25 a week (which could be lower) whether I'm bulking or cutting. Once a week I do go out to eat at this Japanese startup where I spend $5 on a bowl where I get 5oz of beef or chicken, 1-1.5 cups of rice, and half a cup of grilled veggies with whatever sauce I can think of. Sure, I could make it at home, but the whole process takes less than 5 minutes and it's fairly cheap for the amount of food you get. There's a McDonald's right next to it filled with fat people, whereas the onlyl people I see here are skinny Asians and fit people.

Perhaps the only good thing about being super overweight was that when I decided to finally stop being a fat fuck and lose some weight, It turned out i'm actually pretty fucking strong.

I started losing weight around 7 months ago, and starting weight lifting around 5 months ago. Since then i've gone from roughly 435 pounds to around 335ish right now (still a fat fuck) but i've also put on a lot of muscle.
I hit 1/2/3/4 around 3 months in. Now I can deadlift 455, bench 235 and squat 375. I'm still losing weight pretty quickly and improving. Feelsgood.

Food addiction is a psychological addiction like any other. You could cut calories a bit super easy because you don't have that problem. 220lbs at 6'3" isn't having an issue with food, it's just being negligent about eating and exercising.

People who are literally killing themselves as immobile blobs and can't stop eating have a psychological addiction, which is why it is so much harder for them to adjust.

Not that these people can't change, but generally speaking overeating to that extent is a symptom of other problems, rather than the problem itself. This is why these people can't solve their problem by "just eating less and moving more" - they aren't able to maintain that kind of routine because it doesn't address the underlying issue.
