So I was at the gym and it was shoulder day so I just did dumbbell shoulder press the whole time starting with 16kg and working downwards towards 2kg which I struggled with. Can you do this, the same exercise but keep going down in weight in order to work out a specific muscle group? (I also tried doing shrugs but my forearms are too weak to work out this muscle.)

yeah they're called dropsets

ah okay kl, do you know the advantage of this over doing different exercises? Are you supposed to be able to do multiple dropset exercises because it took me forever.

follow a compound orientated routine 3 times a week if you're not. buy a grip trainer for £8

Yes you do multiple dropsets. Most people do 2-3 of them dropping 20% of the wieght each time. It helps hypertrophy.

They're shoulder snappers for a reason. When you lift, squeeze as hard as you can to train grip strength.
