Okay, so I have a number of health issues getting in my way of becoming fit: a boxer's fracture (tendonitis and wrist pain as a result, so this affects grip strength), flatfeet (shin splints and calf pain) and irritable bowel syndrome twinned with gastroesophageal reflux (lethargy, bloating and intestinal pain).
So basically, all of these, aside from the boxer's fracture weren't an issue to start with as I was younger and my body was more resilient.
I gained the boxer's fracture during a 'no holds barred' sparring session which became rather heated and resulted from an inaccurate temple strike.
Anyway, as I've become older, they have became an issue and the boxer's fracture (now that I'm nearing my mid-twenties) has started to become rather painful.
P.S: Martial arts isn't good for health, as a result my joints are screwed. It is good for discipline, reflexes; muscle memory and self-defence though (so long as you don't only concentrate on a single art without gaining a comprehensive knowledge of martial forms).
I've already made an appointment with the doctor for tomorrow, however, I'd like to know /fit/'s thought on how to abate them as a supplement to whatever treatment they'll give me.
My aim is to become physically capable again: lifting, martial arts; cardio, etc.
Any thoughts?

cut off your arm, boom problem solved

Fucking genius, I'll just get a prosthetic, yeah?
Well listen to your doctor first and then find exercises that allow you to become stronger/fitter without aggravating your injuries. If something hurts, find ways to modify the exercise so that it doesn't hurt anymore. Don't push through the pain, find ways to work out so that it improves your life.

This is better anon, thank you.
Sounds like you have a bad diet and low pain threshold. Clean up your eating and just exercise. You can do it. I believe in you.

But wouldn't that fuck up my hand?
>martial arts aren't healthy
>heated no holds barred sparring
Nothing is safe when you are a dumb ape.

Bro, step back.

Don't listen to the pseudo-science. Clean eating won't hurt your hand. Be strong brother.

No, no, I mean wouldn't that just exacerbate the tendonitis?
