Im doing alpha destiny's hybrid program. Im intermediate upper body but novice lower body. The thing is that I can't do trap bar DL in my gym cause it lacks the equipment, is it reall that big of a difference or should I cut some volume to adjust with conventional.
The day that you do DL looks like this

Box Squat 3/5×4-6
Overhead Press 3×4-6 (if you benched Monday) at 90% of previous 5×4-6 weight or Bench Press 3×4-6 (if OHP on Monday) at 90% of previous 5×4-6 weight
Trap-Bar Deadlift 2×4-6
Chinup 3x Bodyweight
Standing Cable Crunch 3×10-20

Should I do one set conventional or two sets?
Keep in mind I train for strenght development in general, I don't necesarilly want to compete at the moment.

First thing is, shoulder extension and scapular depression occur together.
It's automatic, just like scapular upward rotation when OHPing.
It's just how our muscles and bones are structured. Humerus is connected to the clavicle is connected to the scapula is connected to the humerus. When the lats pull the humerus into extension, ligaments (and other muscles) will move the scapulae into depression.

Lads, I just got done with my second consecutive cycle of Sheiko. In each cycle I added 80 lbs to my total, but I also had to push a lot harder in the second block to get the 80 lbs.

Im taking a few weeks to mess around and cut a bit, and then I'm getting back to training, but I'm starting to think I need to do more hypertrophy work. In the last 18 months I only added ~6 lbs of muscle, and I could have added much more.

I could probably write my own hypertrophy program, but does anyone have any suggestions that aren't just: 'sheiko volume works for hypertrophy'?
