Pretty sure it raises test in healthy adults as well.
I took it before when I had a cheap source for the root powder, and I liked it. It definitely seemed to help me with feeling more calm and I feel like I had more energy for workouts. Not like a stimulant or anything just like I didn't wear out during the day like I normally would.
Think it helped with my sleep but I take a lot of different things to help with that

If I have those in my system, I get a wierd feeling in my head about 10 seconds after taking ash.
There is some pressure around my ears, and I tend to get some ringing in my ears.
The dreams are also fucked up and very erotic.

but I've been taking it for 2 months. 2 capsules in the morning
benefits from what i can tell:
calmer
hornier
more energy that i only need half a cup of coffee
sleep easier

only side effects i've experience is being hungrier and sometimes my gums hurt
