literally the most competitive sport there is and physically/mentally requires more from a person than any other.
his backhands are garbage, that's why he lost that many times to nadal
>>40190712
only if it's at a competitive level. Most casual players are nerd asians.
Another thing, most sport at the top level are physically and mentally demanding so your point is moot.
Do you think op is a competitive player? If he was he wouldnt be asking /fit/ for advice.
>>40190764
Asians hardly play the sport, only recently have they gotten into it. and I said it's the most demanding sport physically/mentally so it is in no way moot point.
also I am op and I was semi competitive playing for my city in tournaments around the country so fuck you cunt tell me how he does his backhand
>>40190828
>Recently
Mate, they've been playing since early 2000s. How can 15 years ago be recent? All the asians chose tennis if not, other racquet sports
>>40190828
Also about the backhand i wouldn't be able to give any suggestions which you havent already figured out. Don't most people play the two handed backhand anyway because its more effective?
>>40190828
> tell me how he does his backhand
by being better than you were, clearly
you dont lift to get the good backhand, you get it from doing a backhand a fuckload.
Also, you have no basis for saying that Tennis is the most physically, or mentally, challenging sport...even at high levels.
I could name a few off the top of my head that are almost certainly more difficult in both respects
>squash
>wrestling
>pretty much any martial art
>>40190967
Mentally, tennis is definitely more challenging. When you play against someone it feels a lot like the one you're battling is yourself.

Congrats, Mr. The Fed
>>40190893
15 years is relatively recent in the history of a classic sport.
>not aspiring to emulate Stan the Man's
Fed is still king but Stan's OHB is a work of art

Kek... Except you didnt think it was 15 years did you when you said 'recent'
>>40192202
I'm actually not the guy who said it, but I personally would have said that yes, 15 years is recent, and I've known Asians have been interested in tennis for a long time because I grew up watching anime, and tennis is one of the sports shown the most in anime.
